Cancelled opening of the exhibition “In the Wax Room, Spilled Milk Will Be Yellow” by Zorana Milićević
The U10 Art Collective informs you that the opening of the exhibition by Zorana Milićević, titled “In the Wax Room, Spilled Milk Will Be Yellow”, scheduled for this evening, will not take place.
The exhibition will be open for visits starting tomorrow, from 12 p.m., during the regular opening hours of U10 Art Space.
Tonight, as last night, and as for the past nine months and thirteen years, we will be in the streets. If you are able, we invite you to join us – and to take care of yourselves and one another.
Zorana’s exhibition functions as a “laboratory of the senses,” creating a space for an introspective and participatory experience that connects nature, technology, and human perception. The scent of honey, grasses in white frames, sounds, and tactile textures lead visitors into the fragile world of bees, plants, and materials that testify to the coexistence of the living and the non-living. Within this subtle, sensory framework, a quiet political layer of the work also emerges: in a time when solidarity is being suppressed and social values are eroding under pressure, the exhibition can serve as a reminder that change is born from collective awakening. Just like bees, which survive only through mutual care and the balance of their community, our society depends on empathy and connection. And just as bees abandon their hive when they can no longer recognize their queen, people rise up when awakened by a sense of shared responsibility.
Sincerely,
U10 Art Collective
